Purpose of
meeting is to discuss summer camp.
Weekly
Meetings

Each Wednesday-
7:00pm-8:30pm at Scout
Lodge unless otherwise
noted.
Uniform: Class A Uniform is required!
Handbook: Required
Leader's
Meetings

Leader's Meetings are to be held on the first Sunday on each
month at 7:00pm
at the Scout Lodge. These meetings are used for planning weekly
meetings
as well as planning future events. All adult leaders are
requested to attend.
Summer Camp

Location: Camp Wanocksett,
Jaffrey N.H.
Arrival: Sunday July 6, 2008. All Scouts
attending camp are requested to
report at camp by 2:00pm (Directions to Camp) are available by clicking here.
YOU MUST HAVE A COMPLETED MEDICAL FORM. Both
Sides.
Side 1
is completed by your parents, Side 2 is completed by your Doctor.
If you have not
turned one in already, YOU MUST have it with you. YOU WILL BE
SENT HOME if you
do not have one.
The Scout BUS will be leaving the Scout Lodge at 9:00AM.
Return: Saturday, July 12, 2008. Parents
are requested to appear at
the camp by 10:00Am to pick up thier Scout. Directions to the
camp
will be available. Any Scout needing a ride can make arrangements
with
an adult leader, and ride the Scout Bus back. The Bus will be
arriving at the
Scout Lodge at approx; 12:00 noon.

general store at camp where scouts can purchase scouting items,

scout crafts require kits which must be purchased. If you have

adult leader.)

Troop
Photo
It is customary for a Troop photo to be taken on Sunday after
arrival at camp.
All Scouts in the troop will be in class #A uniform and will pose
as a group.
These photos will be available as a framed 8x 10 color print for
to all parents
wanting to purchase one. The cost will be $9.00 payable by check
made out to
Troop 134 Douglas. Order requests must be accompanied by payment
and can
be made to the Scoutmaster at camp on Sunday.
Weds, Parents Day!
All parents (and siblings) are invited to a cookout on Weds
evening (5:00PM) with thier Scout
followed by the O.A. (Order of the Arrow) "tap-out"
ceremony. We will be having the cookout
in our own campsite again this year. Parents should plan to
arrive at camp between 4:00pm and 5:00pm Wednesday.
